The students are divided into two age groups, one is for grade 2-6 and another for grade 6-9. Basic subjects, such as mathematics, Swedish and English, are in the focus of theoretical activities.
Individual programmes are set up in common with students and their parents .
The students' progress both in their schoolwork and in their social environment are monitored and evaluated trough individual conversations. Ethical discussions and social upbringing are of big importance along with closer contacts with parents.
We at Hassela School strive at helping our students to return to the home schooling as early as it becomes possible.

Stockholm along with a few other cities provide specialised resources for young drug abusers. These are emergency units. They offer detoxification, planning for treatment or, in certain cases, possibilities to participate in an outpatient program. The unit is open around the clock and has medical staff as well as staff employed by the social services.
The highly reputable Maria Youth Clinic is used for education, research and development work.
It may be possible for delegates visiting the Maria Youth Clinic to accompany the night shift, working on the streets in the City of Stockholm. If you are interested in joining the group at night, please contact the ECAD office in Stockholm.
