  Drug prevention - what works?
  An open workshop of Youth in Europe - a drug prevention programme
  An open workshop on the status of the prevention programme Youth in Europe and the ways of limiting the demand for illegal drugs took place in Istanbul the day before the 14th Mayors`Conference.
  Two working sessions were planned for the day, including an overview of the preliminary results of surveys in 9 European cities and a discussion of the evidence to ensure success in the preventive work.
  Specialists in the field from the USA commented on the progress;
  we received prof. Kathleen M. Roe, San Jose state university and prof. John Allegrante, Columbia university.
